Salvacion Cruz is currently working as a Wound Care Nurse at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City since 2005. She is past Vice President of Filipino Nurses Association in the Emirates (FNAE). She is the Facilitator of the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) Abu Dhabi from 2012 up to present. She is a member of International Interprofessional Wound care Group (IIWCG). She is a member of the SEHA Wound Care Advisory Group. She presented as speaker from several wound care conferences, symposiums, in-services and education training. She was co-author some published articles in Wounds International and WCET.
She completed her masters for Clinical Skin Integrity and Wound Management at University of Hertfordshire in UK. In 2009, Salvacion has completed the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course from University of Toronto-KSA. She received the Best Clinical Nurse Award from the Executive Nursing leadership for Outpatient Department, Medical Area and for Wound Care. She has been active member and secretary of the Shared Governance in the Outpatient Department from 2006 to June 2010.
Salvacion has completed her BS Nursing Degree from University of the City of Manila (Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila) in April 2001 where she received an award of excellence for community nursing. She obtained her license from the Philippine Regulatory Board as Registered Nurse in June 2001. She has worked in Medical-Surgical ward and Emergency Department at the Lung Center of the Philippines.
